A Bootiful Halloween!

Our Halloween festivities began this weekend and continued through Halloween. Our little strawberry was quite the trooper as we partied the weekend away!

Our first stop was on Saturday in New York Mills where they had crafts and games for all the kids. Greta did a great job putting stickers on her treat bag.

She already was an old pro at decorating cookies, so she preferred to just eat the marshmallows instead.

She worked hard picking out beads for her bracelet.

Daddy and Mommy had a little fun, too. On Saturday night we attended a Road Rally put on by our neighbors. I must say it was the coolest scavenger hunt I have ever been on. He's Ragnar trying his luck at one of the 'Minute to Win It' games.

Thanks to cousin Henry, we got the idea to create a Mrs. Potato Head pumpkin.

That ear still isn't on quite right. (It could be because they gave us two left ears...oh well!)

Daddy had the great idea of going to the big Frazee Halloween party on the 31st. Here's Greta anxiously waiting for the doors to open.

Once inside she wasn't too sure about all the displays and scary masks.

She was very curious, but didn't want to get too close.

Fishing for treats.

Playing in the leaves.
Our little strawberry had a party at daycare, too. They made bats and had a jack o'lantern pizza for lunch. I guess Greta even wanted to sleep in her costume :) We had such a great Halloween and can't wait for next year!

Funtivities

Just a few more pics from our fun weekend in Ham Lake...

Greta was all business as Oma and her played with the cash register.

Thanks to Matthia's Mom, Christel, Henry and Greta have the most adorable monogram shirts.

"Henry, did you spot Bambi?"

Lunch date at Chipotle.

And a Cub date to frost Halloween cookies. Unfortunately, I think Greta has her Mommy's sweet tooth.

Henry thought Greta's frosting face was pretty funny :)

Finger-lickin' good!

The finished product. Yumm, Yumm!

Busy coloring a Halloween picture.

Seriously? More pictures?
Thanks for a fun weekend! We're missing all the Krumps and Mrs. Richter already. Hope to see you soon!

Pumpkin Schmumpkin

This was Greta's 4th visit to a pumpkin patch/apple orchard this year, but she is still a little uncertain of some of the attractions (i.e. hay bales & cut outs).

All Henry needs is a pitchfork...
All of the pumpkin choices had Greta a little frazzled.
Loved the chickens, ducks & bunnies!
"Is this a hay bale we are sitting on, Henry?!?!"

The babes weren't used to the "old school" radio flyer. They are used to the deluxe version with high sides, back rests & cup holders. However, they enjoyed living life on the edge. :)

A Spooktacular Visit!

Greta and Mommy visited Oma and Opa's house and lucky us, Henry Thomas was there too! Greta and Henry had a lot of fun carting Ernie around in Greta's new stroller, but the highlight was dressing up in their Halloween costumes and going outside for a photo shoot. It doesn't get much scarier than a strawberry and a cheeseburger! :)

Wedding

Thanks to Tante, we have a few more pictures to share from the event of the summer. We were so happy to share in Kathryn and Matthia's special day. They sure are a beautiful couple :)

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, and More Pumpkins

We had another fun Fall Saturday with a trip to the New York Mills pumpkin patch. Daddy helped Greta search the whole patch for the perfect pumpkin to load into her wagon.

Enjoying her delicious hot dog and Barrel O Fun potato chips for lunch. Yumm, Yumm.

She sat nicely for about 20 minutes eating her lunch and watching all the kids.

Pig Tails!

Greta's first real pig tails! Mommy was shocked as she actually kept them in all afternoon.
