Summer Fun!

Once again we had a fun-filled summer.  It's always a little sad when this season ends, as I love all the activities and outdoor fun.
Greta ran her first 5k and Gabriel a toddler race at the Perham Health 5k and Mature Mile.  They were pretty excited about their medals.

We made a trip to Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton before Greta's birthday.

Gabriel was more interested in feeding the ducks from afar.

The kids raced turtles twice this summer.  This is Gabriel's winning turtle.  He spent his winnings and bought his own lunch that day. :)

I made sure we made it to the East Otter Tail County Fair.  We enjoyed some delicious fair food and checked out all the animals.

We had to make a couple stops at Granny's Pantry in Battle Lake!

Water balloons were a BIG hit this summer.

 Hiking at Dunton Locks.

 Turtle Fest Parade.

 Meeting Elsa!

Enjoying one of our last days of summer with a game of Princess Candy Land on the deck.

Swimming at Little Pine.

Happy 4th of July

I had to work over the 4th of July weekend, so we stuck around home.  We still had a good time with a picnic and a few fire works.

Easter (April 5, 2015)

It was a fun Easter with an egg hunt at some friends' house, dying eggs, checking out our baskets, and going to church.

Greta's Last Day of Kinderquest

Greta had such a wonderful year of preschool with Miss Cindy, Miss Nancy, and all her new friends.  I'm really proud of her ability to be a good friend and have fun with everything she does.

Marathon (5/9/15)

I ran my first 1/2 Marathon in Fargo in May.  Greta and Gabriel braved the cold and were my great cheerleaders!

Random Winter Fun

Greta and I attended Shrek the Musical at the Frazee High School.  She loved it!

We also attended a special story time at the library in Detroit Lakes and received the book, "Moo."  Greta got to pet a calf, but Gabriel felt more comfortable sticking to his puzzles.

Greta Turns 5!

My Sweet Greta turned 5 years old this year.  She got to celebrate with her first friend party.  We played games and had pizza and cake at her watermelon themed party.  We also celebrate on her actual birthday with our tradition of a birthday doughnut and trip to the Lake Park.  Greta continues to be my fun-loving, intelligent, and kind little girl.  I love her to the moon and back.
