Date Day

Mommy and Daddy went on a date a couple weekends ago with friends, Andy and Ashley, to Target Field to watch the Twins play. Greta had her first babysitters (Oma and Opa) for any length of time. Everybody had a fun time.

Another family photo.

Greta and her souvenir from the Twins game.

Thanks cousin Henry for the Twins onesie. Twins are #1 (or #2 according to Greta)!

All smiles after her bath.

I don't care what Opa says, white girls can pull off wearing orange.

Exercising princess. Greta has started to complete some intense arm and leg exercises. Her eyes get very big, and she is very serious about her "workouts."

This sweater was Oma's and her sisters when she was a baby.

Two Months Old

Unfortunately Mommy has not been the best about bringing her camera places, but I do have a few pictures to share. Greta has been very busy with play dates lately. Last week she met Elena, Maia, and Nate and last night she got to play with her friend Isaac and met two new little boys, Drew and Noah. She's starting to have more of an interest in other kids and likes to smile at them.

Daddy has banned the headbands! As you can see the last time Mommy put a cute pink headband on Greta it left a red mark on her forehead. Mommy's still contemplating stretching them out to make them work.

Greta went to her first wedding and dance in Jamestown last weekend. Of course the party animal loved the music and people and was up until midnight with all the excitement.

Mommy and Greta attended an infant massage class last Wednesday, so we've been practicing the techniques. As you can see Greta likes to have her little legs rubbed.

Baptized at Last

The Grandmas can now rest easy because Greta was baptized on August 1st. It was a nice ceremony after mass on Sunday, followed by brunch at a local restaurant. We were so happy to have family from both sides come to celebrate. We are so blessed to come from such loving families. Greta is lucky she has such wonderful people in her life.

Cousin Henry got to have a sleep over at Greta's house.

"Kissin' Cousins"

LorRae, Logan, and Greta. How fun it was to have all the cousins together.

Greta in her baptismal gown. The gown was made by Great Grandma Krump, and Mommy wore it when she was baptized.

Godfather Phil lighting the baptismal candle.

"And I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

Greta and her Godparents. Unfortunately Godmother Kathryn couldn't make it as she was in Europe.

Greta and her cake. Mommy asked for a baptismal cake and it said, "Welcome to our world, Greta." We didn't quite get it.

Mommy found a great deal on a Bumbo (only $15 at Wal-Mart) today!

Greta in her hat ready to go see Daddy's work in the yard. It was very windy today. Daddy's been working hard building a deck and landscaping, while Mommy and Greta have been busy playing.

Can you resist those cheeks?

This is a picture from last weekend, but I couldn't resist putting it on the blog. How many Old Papas would get on the floor to play with their Great Granddaughter...too precious!
