Deck the Halls

With the frigid weather, we decided to finish our Christmas decorating this last Sunday.  Greta was a great help with the tree and manger.

Greta's beautiful cluster of ornaments.

Our newest addition...Rosie the elf!  Her first hiding place was in the kitchen light (not the bench like Greta was thinking).  I must say Greta has been a great listener now that she knows Rosie is watching and reporting to Santa :)

Turkey Day

We all had a wonderful Thanksgiving in the Cities with great company and delicious food.
Greta had to take over her Mommy's job and clean the bird this year.

Auntie Sarah had a turkey project for the kids, so here's Ry-Ry hard at work...

...and Greta gluing down her beak.

These two were quite busy with new Christmas puzzles from Oma and Opa.  Greta was very good at managing the pieces, while Henry put the puzzle together.

Watching Santa and his elf feed the reindeer...mesmerizing!

Breakfast with Old Papa...

...and books, too!

Gobble, Gobble

Greta had her last day of "school" on Monday until next year.  We had a party with food, songs, and dancing.

A Trip to the Cities

Greta stayed with her Oma and Opa this past weekend while Mommy attended a class for work.
She met up with Ry-Ry and Sarah at the park.  These two were entranced by a little girl swinging with her daddy.

Aunt Sarah tried to help Greta down the slide, but she wasn't too sure about these BIG slides in Blaine.

Babies

Greta has been quite the little mommy lately.  Her two favorite babies are Silas (on the left) and Harlow (on the right).  Mommy usually ends up taking care of Harlow, while Greta takes Silas shopping.

Silas is a baby boy that occasionally comes to daycare.  Not sure where little "Nicole Richie" got the name Harlow, though.

Happy Halloween!

Since Daddy started putting up Christmas decorations and I've been blaring the Christmas music, I thought I better get these Halloween pictures posted before it's too late.  Greta's Halloween consisted of carving pumpkins (which she was not a fan of the "guts"), two daycare parties, trunk or treat at a local church, and trick or treating around the neighborhood.  And that was on top of our previous celebrations of Zoo Boo, the Edina Realty party, the cultural center party, and her "school" party.  At least her costumes got a lot of use this year :)
