First Day of Kindergarten!
Greta started her first day of kindergarten in Mrs. Larson's class at Frazee Elementary today. I'm so glad she's such a strong, confident little girl, because it really helped me keep it together today.
Had to get a picture with her P.E. teacher. :)
Our Golden Boy
Gabriel celebrated his Golden Birthday this year! We had a fun celebration at the cabin in Hayward and then celebrated on his actual day at home. Gabriel continues to be my smart, affectionate, sassy, fun-loving little boy. I couldn't love him any more!
Two Year Stats:
Height: 34 inches (45%)
Weight: 25 lbs (14%)
Hayward, WI (July)
The end of July, we celebrated Oma and Opa's birthday with a cabin getaway to Hayward, WI. We had so much fun swimming, boating, riding the torpedo, canoeing, sitting around the campfire, visiting, and eating tons of great food.
Camping
In July we went camping for a night at Itasca State Park. I think this might be my new favorite State Park. There was the beach, great paths, projects for the kids, a playground, and the Mississippi Headwaters.
Summer Fun!
Once again we had a fun-filled summer. It's always a little sad when this season ends, as I love all the activities and outdoor fun.
Greta ran her first 5k and Gabriel a toddler race at the Perham Health 5k and Mature Mile. They were pretty excited about their medals.
We made a trip to Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton before Greta's birthday.
Gabriel was more interested in feeding the ducks from afar.
The kids raced turtles twice this summer. This is Gabriel's winning turtle. He spent his winnings and bought his own lunch that day. :)
I made sure we made it to the East Otter Tail County Fair. We enjoyed some delicious fair food and checked out all the animals.
We had to make a couple stops at Granny's Pantry in Battle Lake!
Water balloons were a BIG hit this summer.
Hiking at Dunton Locks.
Turtle Fest Parade.
Meeting Elsa!
Enjoying one of our last days of summer with a game of Princess Candy Land on the deck.
Swimming at Little Pine.
Happy 4th of July
I had to work over the 4th of July weekend, so we stuck around home. We still had a good time with a picnic and a few fire works.
Easter (April 5, 2015)
It was a fun Easter with an egg hunt at some friends' house, dying eggs, checking out our baskets, and going to church.
