Weekend Away
I know this looks like a picture out of the show 'Hoarders,' but actually it's what happens when you move into your new house 9 months pregnant and don't go through anything before the move. Greta's spending the weekend at Oma and Opa's while Mommy and Daddy are at home organizing the house. So far Daddy has taken 2 truck loads to the thrift store and has 1 truck load ready to go to the dump. This is Greta's first overnight away from both of us, and we've really been missing our baby girl.
It looks like she's having a lot of fun with her Oma and Opa, so I'm not sure if she's missing us as much. Here's a picture of them at the zoo.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy V-Day! Greta was all ready to go to Steph's house this morning and deliver her valentines to all her friends.
Along with all the cards in the mail and treats from daycare, Mommy and Daddy had a couple of surprises for Greta when she got home today.
She was more interested in washing off the bathtub finger paints then actually painting with them.

The Basement
After months of hard work on Daddy's part, our basement is now almost complete, as we had carpet laid this last Monday! Greta has been keeping busy helping get her new area in order and enjoying her time running free in the open space often growling like a tiger.
Helping Daddy put together the IKEA tables for our new guest rooms. We're so excited as now Greta has her room back, and we have two rooms for guests to stay. Yippee!
We now have room for Greta's new kitchen from Santa. Santa's elves must have been a little lazy this year, because the thing came in 200 pieces that took Daddy two hours to assemble.
Up and cooking!
Check out my new IKEA table and chairs in my new play area!
And a new electric fireplace to keep it nice and cozy down here.
