I know I'm biased, but Greta has been absolutely precious lately. There's just something so sweet, imaginative, caring, and sensitive about little girls, that I just didn't get until having Greta.
This weekend (between the wind, cold, and rain) we were able to plant the garden. Greta followed me along, carefully placing each seed next to mine, and then helped to cover the seeds after they were all delicately placed in the ground.
One of Greta's favorite things to play with is my "Littlest Petshop" that I had as a little girl (when I was about eight). She can spend hours playing with the puppies. She always calls the St. Bernard the daddy puppy and the Dalmatian is the mommy puppy. Tonight, before it was time to get ready for bed, this is how she set up the mommy and daddy puppies. When I asked her what the puppies were doing, while she was hopping off into her room, she replied, "kiss." And off to bed she went.
How many (almost) two year olds would have the patience to plant seeds in a garden?
ReplyDeleteWell, one that I know of......your Mama!
Greta, you are sooooo adorable, and Oma can't wait to play Littlest Pet Shop with you again very soon! I love you, my Precious!
