Greta's Adventures

I thought I'd write and fill everybody in on Greta's adventures. It's hard to believe our little munchkin is a week old already. I can tell already time is going to fly by. Last Friday, at three days old, Greta took her second car ride to Wal-Mart and out for lunch at Quizno's. She slept through most of her outing and didn't seem to be bothered by all the people and noise. On Saturday, Greta had her first babysitters (Oma and Opa) so Mommy and Daddy could go out for dinner for their one year anniversary. She slept most of the time, but did wake up to visit a little with Oma and Opa before Mommy and Daddy came home. On Sunday morning we went to church and were gift bearers. Greta loved the mass and stayed awake the whole time listening to the music and looking at all the lights and people. After mass Opa took us out for breakfast at the Station House. Yesterday Greta had her first stroller ride around the neighborhood. Unfortunately it wasn't the nicest weather, but it was still nice to get outside. She seemed to initially enjoy it, but then she started crying and cried the whole way home. She must have been scared or just wanted to be held, because as soon as she was picked up she stopped. It's funny how quickly she can turn it on and off. Greta has been an absolute joy. Everybody has been telling us how a baby changes your life, but it's hard to comprehend all the love you will have for your baby, until she's here.

  1. Wow Sarah- Greta is sooooooo cute! Her grandpa looks very proud- I think she may already have her little fingers wrapped around his. She really is a precious baby and am so glad to hear you two are doing so well. Becky and I would like to come visit sometime. I have been wanting to call you but not sure when a good time is for you. I will try to tomorrow night sometime. Again, congrats to you and Bryan and thanks for sharing pics. It has really been fun seeing Greta. Talk to you soon.
